Romney at All Time High Support Among Jewish Voters

In what could impact the entire race, and determine the outcome in favor for Romney, my prediction early on, is somehow becoming a reality.

While the media is still licking the remaining bones from the Democratic convention last week in Charlotte, considering how big of a bump Obama got in the polls, The Investors Business Daily/Christian Science Monitor/TIPP Poll shows the race tightening once again, putting to rest the early predictions, as Obama inched ahead from a 4-month long statistical tie.

What’s even more telling in the TIPP poll, are the inroads Mitt Romney is making, gaining support among Jewish voters. A breakdown of religion along with other demographic groups shows President Obama maintaining a lead among Jews but by a smaller margin – 59 to 35 percent for Mitt Romney, with six percent undecided. While that is still a majority it is a dramatic decline from the 78 percent of the Jewish vote he got in 2008.

The new Reagan, somebody mentioned? well, if Romney ends up with 35+ of the Jewish vote, its a landslide. Oh, and Josh Mandel will end up as the first Orthodox Jewish, Republican Senator.
